The first day of the 2013 YKAA Summer camp ended successfully with 25 students and 7 teachers. It started with a "Dokdo is Korean Land" song and dance. All students eagerly participated in learning the dance and song.
Teacher DaeJanggeum introduced the objective and goals of the camp. Quoting one of the greatest Korean historians Shin Chaeho, “People who forget the history of their country has no future," she emphasized the importance of learning history. After, teachers and leaders were introduced.
Teacher Arirang lectured about today’s theme, “Globalized Three Kingdoms.” All campers divided into four groups (One direction, Jikji, Seonbi and Obok) and did activities.
