Introduction (1:00-1:30 pm)
- Preview questions about Korean history in the 1900s
① Do you know any Korean hero who devoted himself/herself to the independence movement during World War II? If so, write his/her name.
② What did the Korean Americans do to help their mother country find independence from Japan?
③ Why did the Korean War occur in the year 1950?
- Introduction to VANK: How to promote Korea in the world (watching 5000-year video clip)

- What happened in Korea during the early 1900s?
- Who am I? Introduce Independence Movement leaders: Seo Jae-pil, Yu Gwan-sun, Ahn Joong Geun, Dosan Ahn Chang Ho, Baekbum Kim Koo, Seungman Rhee
Practice (2:20-3:30 pm)
- Find answers for the preview questions
- Make a time line with the events during the early 1900s
- Guess Who am I? Write three words describing the leader you are pretending to be.
- Making rice ball for snack, pretending to be a independent solider.
